The Westin Vatika Ballroom is the most apt venue for a Sangeet or Cocktail event. With ample space for a stage and backdrop boasting of double heighted ceilings, the ballroom is perfect for late night dancing soiree’s. Since the hotel is so widespread the distance between the venues is a little much but the overall look and feel of the hotel makes it feel very connected. Don’t forget to hire those extra golf carts for easy movement.

The Amphitheatre is a stunning masterpiece and the best place to have your pheras. Located centrally on the property and overlooking the grand staircase, it makes any moment look magical to say the least. With lush green lawns everywhere you see, every corner of the Amphitheatre is a moment in itself. The lawns are massive enough to easily accommodate 500-600 people at one go.

Planning our first wedding at Westin initially came with a few hesitations, since we didn’t know how the property would coordinate with us and our guest’s requirements and demands. But, to our surprise, the entire process of planning the wedding there was so smooth that we never felt it was our first.

To welcome all the guests, a beautifully curated welcome hamper, welcome letters and itineraries were placed carefully in all the rooms so all the guests felt right at home from the very first moment. Planning this wedding amidst a pandemic, we welcomed everyone with a mandatory kit of sanitizer, mask and a little bag where one could keep their masks safe.

The Entire team at Westin Sohna was extremely cooperative, they emptied out Myra, which is a small ballroom near their entrance for us to set up our hospitality desk so all the guests could have a comfortable and pleasant check in experience with a welcome drink and aarti waiting for them. The hotel also gave us the adjacent conference room for us to set up a break area for the team and also to have our little setup to work out of, which made all the difference in easing out our work for the wedding, A must have for all wedding planners.

Just two minutes across the Myra lawns is the stunning Poolside that is perfect for a Mehendi or Haldi function offering a rich vibrant vibe during the day. It boasts of lush green lawns along the poolside that seem perfect for an outdoor function.

The prompt service of the golf carts to take the guests from one point to the other was extremely beneficial and time saving, considering the vastness of the property. Also, please do not forget to book rooms for the drivers. The same are available within 500 metres from the property.

We were always cautioned about the food. Everyone always had mixed reviews about the food at Westin. But to our surprise, it was the best ever. The chef was personally involved from the start and ensured flawless service too. A butler was dedicated to the Presidential Villa to make sure all the demands of the family were met.
